Welcome to the Iron Comet Training and HIPAA Management Site.
This is your resource for managing the HIPAA compliance of your practice. We have released our next generation of the site to make it work better for you.
This site is divided into 3 major sections. These are:
Training Center – This is the central place for all things training. You can take the Core HIPAA Awareness course, manage users, and view the Ongoing Monthly Security and HIPAA Awareness Training. We will be adding new courses here in the near future.
- Manage Training – Manage the training of your practice here. You can add or remove users for training, view their progress in training, and print off their certificates once they pass the tests.
- Ongoing Monthly Security and HIPAA Awareness Training – Each month we release training covering a specific topic. These topics cover items that relate to HIPAA. Our new format allows your users to review the training online and answer a single question acknowledging that they have read and reviewed the training. this will provide evidence of their training. You will be able to review those that have seen the training in the Manage Training section.
- Core HIPAA Awareness Course – This is the base HIPAA course. It will give your staff the foundation they need for HIPAA training. At the end of each module, you will find a quiz that allows you to test your knowledge. At the end of the course, upon successful completion, you can print a certificate attesting that you have had the foundational HIPAA training. Take the certificate and put it into your HIPAA documentation binder provided by Iron Comet. If you ever have an audit, you can have everything all in one place.
HIPAA Reports – We now provide your monthly HIPAA reports in this portal for you to download. We will link to each month’s report so that you can go back and get each month at any time. Each report bundle is encrypted with your site’s password.
HIPAA Forms Center – This page contains many of the forms practices need for their compliance. These include employee hiring (onboarding) and termination documents. We have created all of the documents online. All you need to do is fill them out online and then print them out.3 major
